Updated May 2023: We've added Tears of the Kingdom, It Takes Two, Cozy Grove, and Disney Dreamlight Valley. And if you were lucky enough to upgrade to an OLED Switch, here's how to transfer all of your data. (We recommend this one.) Be sure to also read up on our Switch Tips and Secrets, Favorite Switch Accessories, and Switch Bundle Deals. We've listed the digital version for most of them here, so make sure you get a spacious microSD card to store all your game files. Thankfully, WIRED has plenty of opinionated Nintendo fans on staff, and we've put our heads together to compile a list of the best Switch games. Figuring out what to play, though-that's getting harder every year, as the roster of first-party and indie games grows deeper and deeper. There’s something unique about carrying a home console-quality gaming device everywhere you go. Ooblets is out now in game preview. The Switch is one of Nintendo's most successful and influential systems ever. Ooblets seems to have a pretty laid-back premise, with the town apparently driven by dancing and seed collection: you'll farm and grow crops, collect ooblets and upgrade them before volunteering them into dance battles to earn seeds, customise your character and your house, make friends with the townspeople, and generally just lead your ooblets on a happy little dance around town. We couldn’t have done all this without you." We want to profoundly thank all the folks who made Ooblets possible, from those who have contributed their incredible work on the game to all the friends and fans who have supported us over the years. There’s still a long way to go to take it from early access to 1.0, so I hope you’ll all join us for the journey. Developing Ooblets has been our lives for the past 4 years, and it’s been a pretty wild ride full of major ups and downs. As per the game's official announcement, developers GlumberLand say "Ooblets is our lil studio’s first game release, and we’re really excited to have people finally play it. It's available on the Microsoft Store, currently at a 20% discount - at £16.79/$19.99 instead of £20.99/$24.99 - but it's still a work in progress, and the devs remind you not to expect a completely finished game.
